Significant rail infrastructure win for our Hong Kong office

We have recently been awarded the contract for providing detailed design services on Tuen Mun South Extension (TME) in Hong Kong, a Mass Transit Railway (MTR) Corporation’s ‘Design and Build’ project to improve railway accessibility to the Tuen Mun South area.  

We were appointed by the main contractor, CRBC – Build King Joint Venture, as their design consultant to provide detailed design and engineering services for approximately 2km of railway viaducts and river crossing bridge, covering the permanent works design, bridge erection engineering and temporary works design.

Over the last twenty years, we have designed the viaducts, stations and other infrastructure structures on a number of major metro and light railway projects worldwide, including in the UK, Dubai, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.   This new TME project will be a significant addition to our railway portfolio and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to delivering innovative design solutions for low-carbon transportation infrastructure works.
