Bordon to Oakhanger 33kV Cable Scheme
Client: Scottish & Southern Electricity
Location: England
Year completed: 2022
Services: Feasibility study

We were appointed by Scottish & Southern Electricity to assist in the feasibility of a crossing of an existing ford by an underground cable route, involving a phased installation of temporary works, demolition and excavation for the underground cable route with subsequent reinstatement of the concrete slab forming the highway ford structure.
The design scheme being considered is a phased installation of temporary works in two or three phases partially damming up the water course, temporary works for the excavation and then design of the reinstated reinforced concrete slab to Local Authority Highway structure standards.
