We were appointed on behalf of Hampshire County Council and Fawley Waterside Ltd for a £8.1m major improvement scheme to the A326 linking Southampton and Fawley with the proposed Fawley Waterside development. The improvement will reduce congestion and delays whilst promoting active travel choices.

We designed the ground investigation, including specifying insitu and laboratory testing for two of the junction improvements – at Applemore and Dibden Purlieu Roundabouts. At both locations widening of the approaches and exist lanes was proposed using mechanically stabilised slopes in order to keep the works within the existing highway boundary.
