We were appointed as the independent checker for the temporary works for the Crossrail station as part of contract C405.

The scope of the check included the temporary props used to support the walls of the station box as well as the connection waling beams and their associated supports. The independent analysis undertaken for the waling beams and their supports utilized a 2D model which was prepared to determine the load effects on the beams which then enables the beam sections and their connections to be checked to EC3.
