We had a fantastic night hosting a table at the NCE100 awards this year, and were delighted to win a number of accolades recognising the work we do and our staff who do it!

Going into the night, we were shortlisted in the ‘Skills Leader of the Year’ and ‘Impact in Transport’ awards, recognising our involvement in the University of Surrey Scholarship scheme and our work on transport systems around the world, particularly Jakarta MRT.

Having been Highly Commended in the Impact in Transport category, we then won the ‘Trending20’ award for 2019, topping the list of SMEs in UK Civil Engineering.  Richard Scantlebury picked up an ‘outstanding presenter’ award for his part in our presentation to the NCE100 judges, talking about our design work in Indonesia.

The judges noted that “over the range of categories Hewson achieved impressive scores and won over the judges with the breadth of its work and initiative.”
