Construction is well underway for the four stations we are designing on Jakarta MRT package CP103.
Across the four stations, 98% of columns are complete, with concourse level construction well underway. Concourse structures are a combination of precast and cast in-situ beams, with hollow-core type slabs. The platform and roof structures above are steel in order to minimise high-level mass, due to the onerous seismic design requirements on the project, and maximise off-site construction.
Hewson are structural designers for these four elevated stations, as well as 4.7km of bridge works on the package.
Civils construction is due for completion early 2018, with the MRT planned to open in the first half of 2019.
