We undertook the detailed design of the upgrade to an existing spillway structure.  The works included materials investigation of the existing reinforced concrete structure to be retained in a modified state.  An assessment of the existing structure was carried out to confirm the capacity to support a new cover slab and extended walls.

The lower section of spillway was replaced with a new wider reinforced concrete spillway with a deck over to support a footway.
