Middle East Office Opening

We are very pleased to share that we have formalised our presence in the Middle East with the opening of our Dubai office, under the leadership of director Wasim Qadir.

We have been active in the region for many years, which has allowed us to grow our profile and gain a solid reputation through our involvement in major rail and highway projects. This included Dubai Metro soon after Hewson commenced trading in 2005, and many projects across the UAE, KSA, Qatar, Turkey and Kuwait in subsequent years. With the establishment of our Dubai office, we are well placed to take advantage of the significant investment in major infrastructure projects in the Middle East over the coming years.

Wasim has extensive experience in designing and delivering complex, multi-disciplinary projects within the transportation sector. His expertise spans a diverse range of infrastructure, including expressways, cable car systems, metro systems, and long-distance passenger and freight rail schemes.

He has a comprehensive understanding of various project facets, having overseen delivery teams responsible for bored tunnels, geotechnical considerations, alignment planning, hydrology, utility conflicts, and other critical disciplines crucial to project success. His strategic oversight and ability to navigate the complexities inherent in large transport projects has set new benchmarks for quality and innovation within the industry in the region.

Our Dubai office further expands our global footprint, which also includes offices in the UK, Ireland and Hong Kong.
