Hewson Consulting Engineers has strengthened links with the British Geotechnical Association, through Paul Perry, Associate Director in our Guildford Office, who is the British Tunnelling Society’s co-opted representative between both Institution of Civil Engineer’s Specialist Knowledge Societies.

This link recognises our ever-increasing geotechnical capacity – our recent projects include a range of geotechnical and underground structures, from a piling platform on site and in action in Devon before Christmas, through an anchored retaining wall for Edinburgh Gateway that was awarded the Saltire Civil Engineering Award 2017, to the soil-structure analysis for a cut and cover vehicular tunnel in Hong Kong with a depth up to 30m.
