Whitechapel Crossrail station acts as an interchange between the Crossrail, Hammersmith and City, District (HCDL) and London Overground (LO) lines.​  The works were complex to facilitate construction works within a busy station.

We were involved a large number of temporary works designs that interacted with live railway tracks and cabling, including:

• A piling platform and working area on the LO platforms and across the tracks.
• Inspection and design of a temporary masonry wall support frame, installed and modified in four phases, to support a wall adjacent to the LU tracks to facilitate demolition and construction
  of the steel framed concourse.
• Assessment of the temporary condition of the new concourse steelwork for fire and designed temporary cladding support for a stairway.
• Independent check of the temporary support structure to the west lift lobby.
• Temporary cladding to a stairwell
