Dubai Metro Blue Line will extend the network by approximately 30 km, delivering a major new strategic corridor linking key residential and development districts across Dubai. The line will comprise approximately 14 stations, strengthening connectivity between the existing Red and Green Lines while supporting long-term urban expansion.

We are providing temporary works design services to the Mapa–Limak–CRRC JV for a range of marine and structural works along the route. Our scope includes temporary jetties and cofferdams within Dubai Creek, precast pile cap shells enabling in-water pile cap construction, and associated enabling structures supporting installation and marine operations.

The first jetty — shown in the image — is approximately 50 m wide and extends 40 m into Dubai Creek. Formed from anchored sheet pile walls with engineered backfill to create a heavy-duty working platform, it facilitates crane operations, piling works, and marine transportation of large precast bridge segments. An internal cofferdam system, incorporating steel props and waling beams, enables excavation and permanent pile cap construction within the jetty footprint.

We worked closely with MLCC to develop the concept and deliver detailed design through fully coordinated 3D BIM models, supporting optimisation, clash detection, and accurate quantity extraction.
