Our guiding philosophy has always been to collaborate closely with our contractor clients and all other partners/stakeholders on the project to develop bespoke designs that are tailored to resolve complex engineering challenges.

This week we are delighted to see another testimony of this philosophy – the successful erection of a fully precast V-shape bridge pier, which we recently designed for contractor CRBC on the Cross Bay Link project in Hong Kong.

The precast unit weighs approx. 1000T and our innovative design solutions enabled it to be built in a much safer and faster way with minimal temporary works required on site.  The adoption of this solution also significantly mitigated any potential impact to the surrounding marine environment, emphasizing the consideration on how to benefit the wider society during the construction of major projects.
